Dragonflies inhabitant water, but with maturity, learn to fly while staying close to the water. Those with dragonfly affinities may have had emotional and passionate early years, but as they get older, they achieve balance with mental clarity and control.

The dragonfly is associated with color magic, mysticism and illusion. To some Native American tribes they are connected with water and Springtime, fertility, and renewal. The dragonfly was the symbol of a great Japanese warrior clan and later became one of the emblems of the Japanese emperor.
